Ingredients To Make Pinto Beans With Onions And Red Peppers

1 Small Onion
1 Medium Red Bell Pepper
3 Tablespoons of Crushed Tomatoes
Two 15 oz cans of pinto beans (or one 29 oz can)

2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
A handful of Parsley
Black Pepper

How To Make Pinto Beans With Onions And Red Peppers

Drain and rinse pinto beans.

Wash, peel and chop the onion on a cutting board. Wash, clean and chop the red bell pepper on a cutting board. Wash and chop parsley on a cutting board.

Heat up the olive oil in a saute pan. Add onions and red bell peppers and saute for 5-7 minutes, until they soften. Add pinto beans and crushed tomatoes and cook for a few more minutes.

Sprinkle the pinto beans with parsley and serve.
