How To Cook Tomato, Dill and Cucumber Salad



Here is another great salad that is tasty and good for you! Dill is a great herb that makes the salad more flavorful and enjoyable. I like adding herbs to a salad – they provide a great flavor and they don’t have any fat.

What can you serve tomato, dill and cucumber salad with? It is a very light salad, so it will be great paired with a heavier pasta dish.

Tools You Will Need To Make Tomato, Dill and Cucumber Salad

Knife
Cutting Board
Salad Bowl

Ingredients for Tomato, Dill and Cucumber Salad

1 Medium Tomato
1 Medium Cucumber
Half of a Small Onion
1/2 Tablespoon of Dill
1/2 Tablespoon of Red Wine Vinegar
1 tablespoon of Olive Oil
Salt
Freshly Ground Black Pepper

How To Make Tomato, Dill and Cucumber Salad

Wash and peel the cucumber. Wash the tomato. Peel and wash the onion. Wash the dill.

Chop tomato, onion and cucumber on a cutting board. Chop dill.

In a salad bowl combine tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, dill, olive oil and vinegar. Toss the salad and add salt and pepper to taste.

    I do make something like this almost everyday when the garden starts producing. I love it with the red onions the best. I usually use basil but I will have to try the dill.

    I’m not a big tomato fan, but I love cucumbers so much that this is a staple in my summer diet. Yum.
