Apple Cake Recipe

I don’t bake a lot, so when I do bake I look for very simple recipes. Here is a very simple apple cake recipe that makes a great cake. It’s a cake with nice apple pieces inside. Use Golden delicious apples to create a nice contrast between the cake and the apples.

Ingredients For Apple Cake Recipe

1 Cup of Flour
6 Eggs
1 Cup of Sugar plus a pinch of Sugar

3 medium Apples

Wash, peel, core and chop the apples.

Separate the eggs.

Add the egg whites and a pinch of sugar to a mixing bowl and beat with a mixer.

In another mixing bowl beat together sugar, flour and egg yolks.

Mix the egg white and the egg yolk mix together, add the apples, and mix again.

Pre-heat the oven to 350F. Butter the baking dish. Add the cake batter to the baking dish and bake for 40-45 minutes, until the cake is done.
