This garlic butter baked cod fish is simply the best! Made with just a few ingredients, this easy garlic lemon cod baked in the oven is healthy, delicious and simple to make.
Juice half of the lemon, and cut the other half into thin circles. Add 2 teaspoons of lemon juice, minced garlic and garlic powder to melted butter.
Mix all the ingredients for the butter mix together.
Like the baking sheet with parchment paper.Use paper towels to dry cod fish fillets and put them on the baking sheet.
Season the cod with salt and black pepper.
Divide the butter mixture among the cod fillets, and spread the mix on top of each piece.
Preheat the oven to 400F. Bake cod for 12-15 minutes, until the fish is flaky and opaque, the meat thermometer should register at least 145F for the fish.
