Cook pasta by following instructions on the pasta package. If using leftover pasta, skip this step.When pasta is almost done, start by heating up Olive Oil in the skillet. Once the oil is hot, add the garlic and saute for 3-4 minutes.
Once pasta is cooked, drain it and reserve about half a cup of the water in which the pasta cooked.Add pasta to the skillet.
Continue cooking for a few minutes, all the while turning the pasta, so that it gets coated in olive oil and garlic. If the pasta is a bit dry, add a few tablespoons of pasta water, and mix again.Turn off the pasta, add parsley, if you using.
