Grater
Sauce Pan

Ingredients For Pasta Sauce

1 Small Onion
2 Carrots
Olive Oil
28-oz can of crushed tomatoes
Salt
Freshly Ground Black Pepper
a pinch of dry oregano
1/3 cup of water

How To Make Pasta Sauce

Peel and wash the onion. Wash and peel the carrots.

Grate the onion and carrots.

Heat up olive oil in the sauce pan. Add onion and carrots and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add dry oregano. Add tomatoes and water and bring to boil. Decrease the heat, so that the sauce is just lightly simmering and cook for 1-2 hours, until the sauce is reduced and the color becomes dark read.

Season with salt and black pepper.
