However, in this simple Quinoa Salad Recipe With Asparagus, there are just two main ingredients, quinoa and asparagus.

Having just two main ingredients, helps you taste both of them, and helps both of them shine. Since quinoa and asparagus have different flavors and textures, the salad is still very delicious with just a few ingredients.

There are two variations to this salad, one variation is with steamed asparagus, and the other one is with roasted asparagus. Both are great, so choose the one that is easier for you to make. For example, if you already have some leftover roasted asparagus, then make the salad with roasted asparagus. And if you have some leftover steamed asparagus, then use the steamed asparagus in the salad.

The difference between the salads is how you will dress them. Since the roasted asparagus is already roasted with olive oil, salt and pepper, you usually don’t need any additional oil, salt or pepper. Just add a bit of vinegar, and the salad is done.

For the steamed version, you can add a bit of olive oil. vinegar, salt and black pepper. Again, a very simple salad to make.

1 cup of Dry Quinoa
1 Pound of Asparagus

Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon of Red Wine Vinegar
Freshly Ground Black Pepper

How To Make Quinoa Salad Recipe With Asparagus

Cook quinoa, according to the directions on the package.

Wash and trim the asparagus.

This salad can be made with either steamed asparagus or roasted asparagus.

If you are making it with roasted asparagus:

Once the asparagus is cooled, cut asparagus into about 2-inch pieces. In a salad bowl combine quinoa, roasted asparagus and red wine vinegar. Mix the salad to combine. Add a bit of black pepper if needed.

If you are making the salad with steamed asparagus:

Cool the asparagus. Once it is cool, cut the asparagus into 2-inch pieces. In a salad bowl, combine quinoa, asparagus, red wine vinegar, a tablespoon of olive oil, a bit of salt and black pepper. Mix the salad to combine.
