Remove the steaks from the fridge, and let them rest outside for 20 minutes.Dry the steaks. Salt and pepper the steaks on both sides.
Preheat the oven to 375F. Heat up Canola oil in the Stainless Steel Saute Pan. Make sure that the saute pan you are using is a stainless steel pan that can go into the oven. If you don't have a stainless steel saute pan, click to check out this pan: Stainless Steel Saute Pan.When the oil is hot, add the steaks to the pan. Sear the steaks on one side for 3-4 minutes. Turn the steaks, and let them cook on the other side for 3-4 minutes.
Put the pan with the steaks in the oven, and cook for about 10 minutes. Take the pan with the steaks out of the oven. Use the Meat Thermometer to check the temperature of the thickest part of the steak. You will need 150-155F for medium well. If the temperature is lower than that, return the steaks back to the oven, cook for 4-5 minutes, and check the temperature again.
