How To Make Caramelized Onions

Tools You Need To Make Caramelized Onions

Knife
Cutting Board
Saute Pan

Ingredients For Caramelized Onions:

5 large onions
4 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon of Butter

A pinch of sugar

How To Make Caramelized Onions:

Peel and wash the onions. Slice the onions on a cutting board.

In a large saute pan heat up olive oil and butter.

Add onions, and cook for 3-4 minutes stirring constantly. Reduce the heat to low or medium low, add the sugar, and continue cooking, stirring every few minutes.

Cook for 20-25 minutes or until the onions are done.
