Barley Salad Recipe With Tomatoes And Scallions

I usually use barley in soups, but this time, when thinking about a side dish, I started thinking about different grains, and decided to go with barley.

To make Barley Salad Recipe With Tomatoes And Scallions, add chopped tomatoes and chopped scallions to barley, and dress it very simply with olive oil and vinegar.

 

Risotto Cakes Made From Beet Risotto

If you have some leftover beet risotto, then you can make risotto cakes. These cakes are very simple to make. To make them, mix the leftover risotto with a egg, then form patties, coat them in flour and cook them until them are done.

 

Lamb Stew Recipe With Carrots And White Beans

If you have been making stews, you know that stews are very versatile. There are tons of different stews you can make, stews with beef, with lamb, and with other meats. This stew uses lamb, a very flavorful meat. Since lamb meat can have a bit of fat in it, it is great to make lamb stew with vegetables and beans. Vegetables and beans cooked together with lamb meat and a bit of fat really take on the flavor and become very tasty.

To make lamb stew, saute small pieces of lamb for a few minutes, then add onions and saute for a few more minutes. Add some water to cover the meat. Reduce the heat and simmer the lamb for a 2-2.5 hours, until the lamb is cooked. Next, add carrots and celery and continue simmering the stew, until the carrots are cooked. Add beans and cook for 5-10 more minutes.

 

Apple Salad Recipe With Blue Cheese, Bibb Lettuce, Walnuts, Onions

Here is a simple apple salad. Apple salads are great fall salads. And apples combined with green lettuce, a bit of crunchy onions, tasty nuts and Blue cheese go great together.

To make the Apple Salad Recipe With Blue Cheese, Bibb Lettuce, Walnuts, Onions, first, chop the apples. Chop the lettuce, and a bit of white onions. Chop and toast some walnuts. In a salad bowl, combine apples, lettuce, onions and walnuts. Dress with vinegar and olive oil, season with black pepper. Mix the salad, add some crumbled blue cheese and serve.

To make Broccoli Stir Fry With Pepper Flakes, first, steam broccoli. Drain broccoli, cool it off and dry it. Next, heat up oil in a skillet, add pepper flakes and broccoli and stir fry for a few minutes, and serve.
