These juicy Greek lamb meatballs are cooked in delicious tomato savory sauce in your Instapot! They taste just like the lamb meat balls from your favorite restaurant, but they really easy to make, and take just minutes to cook in the Instantpot Pressure Cooker!
Peel and wash the onion. Wash and peel the carrot. On a cutting board, cut the onion into halves. Mince half of the onion, and set aside. Grate the carrot.Grate the second half of the onion.
In a mixing bowl mix the lamb, grated onion and salt and pepper. Make meatballs about the size of a walnut.
Set the Instant Pot to Saute. Add the canola oil to the Instant Pot.Once the oil is hot, add minced onions and grated carrots to the Instant Pot. Saute the vegetables for 4-8 minutes, stirring them every few minutes.Add water the crushed tomatoes to the Instant Pot. Mix, and simmer the sauce for a few minutes.
Add the meatballs to the Instant Pot.Place the lid on the Instant Pot. Use the manual setting, and cook for 6 minutes. Use Natural Release, and wait for the valve to drop.
Once the valve drops, carefully open the lid. Your delicious Instant Pot Lamb Meatballs are ready to serve with Greek Spinach Rice and Greek Salad.
