My Take On Lamb Shawarma
When I am out, I like to get shawarma sandwiches. I tried making it myself - with my own spin, of course - and it came out great. This is a pita sandwich with lamb patties. The onion, parsley and spices make the patties very flavorful. And when you put them on a pita, and add hummus and tomato and cucumber salad, it becomes a great dish!

How To Make Lamb Patties
Grate the onion. Chop the parsley.
In a mixing bowl combine lamb, onions, parsley, eggs, cumin, coriander, salt, pepper. Mix well.
Form the patties. I make them flat, as you can see in the picture. Heat up the canola oil in the skillet and fry the patties. First, fry them for 4-6 minutes on one side. Then turn them over and fry until done.
To make pitas, spread some hummus on the pita, top with two patties and top them with some salad. Enjoy!
