Meatball Recipe

Meatballs with homemade tomato sauce is one of my favorite comfort foods. What can be better than a nice bowl of spaghetti and meatballs?

These meatballs are very minimalistic, as I add very few ingredients to them. And since there aren’t any fillers, they are very tasty, the flavor comes through very nicely.

Many meatball recipes I have seen fry the meatballs. Since I am baking them, these meatballs are healthier.

Tools You Need To Make Meatballs

Knife
Cutting Board
Grater
Mixing Bowl
Baking Sheet

Ingredients You Need To Make Meatballs

1.5 pounds of beef (chuck)
1 medium onion
1 tablespoon of parsley
a pinch of dry oregano
1 egg
Salt
Freshly Ground Black Pepper

You also need cooked spaghetti and homemade tomato sauce

How To Make Meatballs

Peel and grate the onion.

Chop the parsley on a cutting board.

In a mixing bowl combine meat, onion, parsley, egg, dry oregano, salt, black pepper and mix. If the mixture is not moist enough, add some water.

Make meatballs, about the size of a large walnut. Arrange the meatballs on a baking sheet.

Pre-heat the over to 375F. Bake the meatballs for 25-35 minutes, until they are done.

Serve the meatballs on a plate with spaghetti and homemade tomato sauce.
