So what do you do it you want to make cabbage rolls, but don’t want to make the actual cabbage rolls. You know, making the cabbage leaves pliable, stuffing each roll, etc, etc.
Well, in that case you look for easy recipes for cabbage rolls. My favorite lazy cabbage rolls recipe uses all the cabbage rolls ingredients, but instead of making the actual rolls, you make a cabbage rolls stew. I make a stew with meat, rice, carrots and cabbage. The stew tastes just like your regular cabbage rolls, except that it is a much easier recipe. No reason to roll the cabbage rolls.

Ingredients For Lazy Cabbage Rolls:
1.5 pounds of ground beef
3 medium carrots
1 medium onion
1/2 of medium cabbage
28 oz can of crushed tomatoes
1/3 cup of rice
water
oil for frying
salt
pepper
Toppings: parsley, sour cream
Chop the cabbage.
How To Make Lazy Cabbage Rolls
Chop the onions and carrots. Saute the meat, onions and carrots using the saute pan.
Once the meat is cooked, put it into the pot. Add the rice, cabbage, tomatoes and water to the pot.
Bring the pot to to boil, reduce the fire and simmer the stew for until it is done, and the rice is done. Mix the ingredients in the pot from time to time, so that everything mixes well together.
When serving, top the lazy cabbage rolls with sour cream and/or parsley.
