Ingredients For Lamb, Chickpeas and Beef Stew Recipe

1.5 Pounds of Lamb
1.5 Pounds of Beef
2 Medium Onions
2 Medium Carrots
1 Cup of Cooked Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans)

Canola Oil
Salt
Freshly Ground Black Pepper
A pinch of Ground Cumin
Water

Parsley for garnish

How To Make Lamb, Chickpeas and Beef Stew

Cut beef and lamb into bite-size pieces. Clean, wash and chop onions and carrots.

Heat up the oil. Add the meat and cook for a few minutes on one side. Turn the meat and cook for a few more minutes on the other side. Add ground cumin. Add onions and carrots and cook for a few more minutes.

Add water to cover the meat. Reduce the heat and simmer for a 1-2 hours, until the meat is cooked and meat is soft. Add chickpeas and cook for 10 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Garnish with parsley when serving.
