Some time ago I posted a French toast recipe, that was a recipe for sweet French toast with fruit.

I have been making sweet French toast for a very long time. Usually serving it with fruits, berries, syrup, jam - you name it. And recently I started thinking - what if I wanted a French toast recipe for savory French toast? How would I make French toast savory?

Turns out that it is just as easy to make savory French toast as it is to make the sweet one. You just vary the ingredients a bit, and you will get a completely different take on French toast. Here is a savory French toast recipe.

Tools You Will Need For Savory French Toast

Dinnerware
Saute Pan

Ingredients For French Toast:

4 Slices of Regular White Bread
3 Eggs
3 Tablespoons of Milk
A handful of parsley
A handful of dill

How To Make French Toast

Wash the dill and parsley, and chop the dill and parsley on a cutting board.

Beat the eggs in a bowl. Add milk, parsley, dill, salt and pepper. Mix.

Heat up the oil in the saute pan. Dip both sides of the bread into the egg mixture, allow to soak for 10 seconds for each side.
