Caramelized Onions



Caramelized onions can be used in a ton of different recipes. You can use them in bruschettas, serve on pasta, add to stuffing, omelets, dips, frittatas and more.

Tools You Need To Make Caramelized Onions

Knife
Cutting Board
Saute Pan

Ingredients For Caramelized Onions:

5 large onions
4 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon of Butter

A pinch of sugar

How To Make Caramelized Onions:

Peel and slice the onions on a cutting board.

In a large saute pan heat up oil and butter.

Add onions, and cook for 3-4 minutes stirring constantly. Reduce the heat to low or medium low, add the sugar, and continue cooking, stirring every few minutes.

Cook for 20-25 minutes or until the onions are done.
